Spend a day with Two Shores Social Co and

When we moved back to West Sussex from the Isle of Man, I wasn't sure what to do with the year, going from our corporate life and our plans being all over the shop, so since then we've grown two little local businesses.

Two Shores Social Co for helping local businesses with marketing support, admin and social media management - which I'm so proud of how it's bloomed, and I absolutely love the clients I'm working with! They are fabulous 🌟

Then the Wag Club started for pet walking, sitting and check ins in the area - which again, I've got a wonderful regular base of pups I see now from Hassocks up to Haywards Heath...who couldn't be happy with that 😍 🐾

Anyway, just a little thanks to everyone who has supported me so far and spent their days with me too! 🌞

We've been working with the amazing Upledger Institute UK for a couple of months now, and are super pleased to see them reach over 5K followers! Some amazing growth, stats and work all being done.

If you've not heard of CranioSacral Therapy, I would recommend having a look! 🥰

One of my favourite parts of running Two Shores Social Co. is helping businesses evolve their brand without losing what makes them them.

When I first met the lovely Terri at Auralite HR, she'd already done something so many business owners do - she'd created a logo using AI. It gave her a great starting point and captured the feel she was looking for, but it was time to create a professional brand that reflected the quality of her work.

Together, we took the elements she already loved and transformed them into a professionally illustrated logo, alongside a complete brand identity including colours, typography, icons and image styling. The aim wasn't to start again - it was to refine and elevate what she already had.

🤩 From there, we:
- Refreshed her website with a cleaner, more professional look.
- Created and launched her Facebook and Instagram pages.
- Built a consistent LinkedIn content strategy to position her further as a trusted HR and leadership specialist.
- Developed branded social media content and ongoing marketing plans.
- Began sales outreach to help introduce Auralite HR to new organisations.
- Captured a fresh bank of professional headshots and brand photography for use across her website, social media and presentations.

The results have been brilliant to see.

📈 LinkedIn has grown to 6,614 followers, with content reaching well beyond Terri's existing network.
📈 Over 2,800 LinkedIn impressions in the latest reporting period, with 23% of those coming from people outside her existing connections.
📈 Facebook continues to build steady organic engagement, with video content and client-focused posts performing particularly well.
📈 Google Business Profile interactions have also increased as Auralite HR's online presence continues to strengthen.

I'm really pleased to still be working with Terri as we continue to evolve, with work such as refreshing presentation packs, developing new marketing ideas and helping Auralite HR continue to grow.

If you haven't already, I'd highly recommend checking out Auralite HR and following their journey. Terri is incredibly passionate about helping businesses build high-performing teams and stronger workplace cultures.

Thank you, Terri, for trusting me with your brand. It's been such a pleasure working with you, and I'm excited to see what we achieve together next!! 🌟

I’m really pleased to say I’ve passed my Level 2 Digital Marketing course 🎉

What’s funny is that most of my learning in marketing has come from years of actually doing the job.

Working on socials. Learning SEO. Creating campaigns. Working with clients. Solving problems. Installing Adverts.

Marketing is one of those industries where experience teaches you SO much.

But I also know professional development matters, and I’m proud of myself for continuing to learn and level up alongside my freelance journey!

Sometimes when you’ve worked in an industry for a while, you forget to stop and recognise your own progress.

So this is me doing exactly that.

Onwards and upwards ✨

Life lately has been a bit of a whirlwind! My brain and calendar has been very busy, and I'm really grateful about it.

I’ve met some brilliant people recently, worked on some exciting projects, continued learning, and I’m slowly building a working life that actually suits me.

Some days are chaos. Some days I feel like I’ve got 45 tabs open in my brain. Some days I massively overthink absolutely everything.

But I’m learning.

I’m also trying to become better at actually posting my work online because ironically, as someone in marketing, I’m terrible at marketing myself! Case studies coming soon 🤩

The reason I love marketing so much is because it’s never just about “posting on social media”.

It’s about people.

Understanding a business. Understanding what makes them different. Understanding their audience. Helping them tell their story in a way that connects.

I LOVE sitting with people and hearing:

✨ Their ideas ✨ Their goals ✨ Their frustrations ✨ Their vision for the future

Because usually within minutes my brain is already firing with ideas.

Campaigns. Content. Branding. Partnerships. Photography. Events. PR opportunities.

That creative strategy side of marketing is honestly my favourite thing.

Now I just need to get better at doing the same for myself 😂

One thing I’ve noticed even more than ever with small businesses is how most business owners are trying to do absolutely EVERYTHING!

Running the business. Answering emails. Managing staff. Posting on social media. Keeping customers happy. Sorting finances. Trying to have a life outside work.

So when people say: “Why haven’t you posted in ages?”

Even as someone who works IN marketing, I still struggle to consistently market myself.

That’s why I love supporting businesses with socials and content.

Sometimes all people need is someone to:
- Bring fresh ideas
- Help create consistency
- Take pressure off
- Help tell their story properly

Watching businesses grow confidence online is one of the best parts of the job. 🥰

I recently got my official diagnosis of ADHD which tbh probably isn’t shocking to anyone who knows me well 😂!

My brain most days has 700 ideas at once, multiple notes with different lists, random bursts of motivation when I'm meant to be asleep, so organised I over organise!

I am simultaneously thriving and overwhelmed, but weirdly… I actually think the way I work now really suits my brain.

At the moment I’m balancing -
1) Freelance marketing with Two Shores
2) 🐶 Dog walking + pet sitting through
3) Bank shifts in a care home as an Activities & Lifestyle Assistant

I genuinely love ALL of them. 💞

One day I’m planning content strategies. Next I’m out with dogs on the Downs. Then I’m painting, singing, dancing and chatting with residents.

It’s chaos. It’s fun. It’s sometimes lots to juggle.
But I also feel really lucky with the flexibility of life right now.

The hardest part has definitely been:
- Juggling my calendar
- Managing money without a set monthly wage
- Trying to create structure for myself
- Switching my brain off

I’ve recently started ADHD medication which has genuinely helped loads with structuring focus and calming the very busy brain.

But I’d LOVE advice from anyone else freelancing or juggling work with ADHD, or any coaches! 🌞

I’m currently looking for a couple of businesses/brands who would like support in exchange for being part of my growing portfolio and case studies.

Areas I’m looking for case studies are:

📸 Event photography and Event Planning Support
📱 Social media content shoots
💻 Social media management
✨ Brand support and creative content

I’d be happy to discuss reduced rates for the right projects while I continue growing Two Shores!

If you’re a small business that needs:

• Better social content • Consistency online • Photography for socials/web • Help showing the personality behind your brand • Marketing support without the pressure of a huge agency

Please feel free to message me.

I absolutely love helping businesses bring their ideas to life.💖
