Matt began his journey in motorsport photography in 2015, attending events as a spectator and learning from the talented photographers around him. In 2021, he approached Mike Dommett to explore opportunities within the paddock, leading to his introduction to the Bemsee media team—and the official launch of Chequered Flag Images.

Since then, Matt has become a valued part of what he considers one of the best paddocks to work in. He continues to meet and collaborate with exceptional teams and individuals, always striving to capture memorable moments for riders to treasure. His passion for photography drives his ambition to turn this craft into a full-time profession, with the future holding exciting possibilities.

Chequered Flag Images will return to the paddock in 2026, and Matt looks forward to working with everyone again.

📣 BEMSEE 2025 SEASON WRAP-UP: THE NUMBERS WE CAN’T BELIEVE EITHER! 🤣🏁

Well folks, as we pack away the flags, pick the gravel out of the leathers, and remind Keith that not every joke needs to be broadcast, it’s time for the annual BMCRC stats dump — the good, the bad, and the “wait… HOW many doughnuts?!”
