It's 🎲, a community hashtag created by Chris and hosted by Laura. This weeks theme is 'menu' suggested by Rich - 60 Minute Gamer

And on the menu today is one of my favourite foods, PIZZA 🍕

Now, the way this normally works is I'd ask you a question of what game you think this is, but there's something far more important at stake. Who is putting pineapple, let alone broccoli on their pizza?!! 🤢 Answer the poll below whether they should be a topping.

🍫 Le Chocolat 🍫

Come with me and you'll be in a world of pure imagination...

It's 🎲, a community hashtag hosted by Emzie. This week we're highlighting Le Chocolat by Allplay, though it's a first impression, this game left us wanting more after just one bite.

Le Chocolat is a deliciously sweet "I split, I choose" puzzle, where players will be aiming to claim the best chunks of the bar. 

On their turn, players will split the chocolate bar along a straight edge, if there's a segment of 3 or less pieces they may claim them but can only keep one. Each game will have its own criteria of what pieces are the most flavoursome based on the score card.

Once all chocolate pieces have been claimed, the game ends and players get to c̶o̶n̶s̶u̶m̶e̶ score their tiles based on the score card.

I love the theme of this game, I love the artwork and design of the box and tile pieces. It's a fun little puzzle, not all chunks will be face up so you don't always know what you're going to get and some chunks have no flavours on at all.

And remember, as a great chocolatier once said, "We are the music makers, and we are the dreamers of dreams."

Some highlights from what is one of my favourite times of the year. was incredible, this was my first time attending the full 3 days where I wasn't working on a stand and I absolutely loved it.

I met so many old and new friends and got to play games to my hearts content. Some stand out games and demos for me include Pac-Man Craze Maze, Hummingbirds, King of Tokyo: Godzilla. I also got to check out some upcoming releases for Wroth which looks incredible.

I am also extremely grateful to have been invited to the influencer event and heard all things Star Wars Unlimited and the newly announced Icons mini-set. I'm excited they've incorporated a card where Anakin becomes Vader, that's beyond cool.

I also managed to grab a copy of L'oaf early on the Friday morning, it's my unexpected purchase from expo. Having bought a different game from the stand, I tried a demo of L'oaf and was hooked.

Sunday mainly consisted of dragging as many people as I could to the stand to play Slam Throne. Sorry for forcing you to play a game 😂

I still feel there was so much more I could've done, games I wish I demo'd, more people I wish I could've caught up with but nonetheless it's a weekend that's reminded me of how amazing the board game community is and I can't wait to see everyone again.
