Hospital Radio Haven Is one of the oldest hospital radio stations in the country having recently celebrated 65 years of service to hospital patients of West Cumbria. Hospital Radio Haven was established in 1955 and is a member of the Hospital Broadcasting Association, We broadcast at West Cumberland Hospital in Whitehaven. We are a small organisation made up entirely of volunteers and funded by do

nations. Our service is provided free of charge to patients and staff. Our aim is to provide a service to patients of the West Cumberland Hospital, giving them a link back into the Local community.

Hospital Radio Haven is a volunteer run radio station, based in West Cumberland Hospital serving the staff and patients fo over 70 years. For the last few years we have been broadcasting via the internet on hospitalradiohaven.co.uk, so you no longer have to be in hospital to listen.

Hi all just to let you know we have decided to cancel the 70th Anniversary celebrations due to lack of numbers interested in attending. As a team we are extremely disappointed to have to make this decision. A big thank you to the people that had an involvement in Hospital Radio Haven over the last 70 years. You can always tune in at hospitalradiohaven.co.uk 24 hours a day 7 days a week.
