Who doesn’t want easy make up?!

I think I will always be a natural make up girlie it’s taken me a while to find what really works for me, but the conclusion is less is more on my face I feel!

I’ve swapped foundation for skin tints and am always on the hunt for the perfect one, as well as a creamy blusher!

I’ve been trying out and I’m very impressed! The skin tint is just gorgeous and the glow it gives is perfect, I recently purchased one of their lipsticks and now having tried more of their make up range I can tell you they are beeeeeaaaaauuuutiful products! Even better they are cruelty free, paraben free and powered by plant oils 😍

Products used - Future resist skin Primer, wake up radiant skin tint, radiant cream concealer, sunset matte bronzer, in bloom radiant liquid blush tiger lily, Smooth eye shadow stick, colour intense lipstick shade hush

This week I turned 49 & decided to take myself for a little wander around to look for a new perfume.

So many gorgeous scents that I got a little bit overwhelmed and then distracted by all the other products in there 🤣

Some of my fave ones are the cleansing balm by myself and my girls have used it for a long time and it’s 👩‍🍳💋

Also absolutely love the skin tint moisturiser by the liquid blushes are fab and last for aaaaaaaages as you don’t need much! Anything I’ve tried by has been fab too.

But the hit for me was all of the cute minis!!! I wanted one of each, I should have bought a little pick and mix style bag for my birthday! Such a fab way to try a brand or take minis for holiday, my fave was there too 😍

Anyway. I didn’t find a scent, but I did have a lovely birthday browse!

Now tell me… what’s your favourite perfume? I may have to go back to my Le Vie est Belle 💕

I might not put my face in the sun but I still want that holiday glow!

Did anyone else know about the blonzing technique? Thanks to for showing me how to do it!

Anyway, I never have too much time to spend on my make up so this a a very quick and easy 5 min routine for a healthy summer glow ☀️ speaking of where has the sunshine gone? I know I complained it was too hot but can we meet in the middle UK weather? 🤣

Products used:
hydrating glow primer + honey sheen lipgloss
concealer shade N28 + skin finish radiant medium gold + skin finish coloursteuck blush in gingerly + lip liner in edge to edge
kitten lash mascara in burnt umber
brow wiz in soft brown

What’s you best purchase?

Quite pleased with this one as usually my purchases are not great! Apart from a pair of shorts and a bag I’m often a bit disappointed as I see soooooo many people getting some great things!

Perhaps I just need to learn to search a bit better! Also how annoying is it that they have changed the sizing on there now? Is it just me or does it make it harder to find what you’re looking for??

If you’d told me in my twenties that I’d feel more comfortable and confident in my own skin at 49, I don’t think I’d have believed you.

Midlife isn’t perfect, but this has definitely been one of the unexpected bonuses!

I’d love to know if anyone else feels the same 💋

I think I might just be finally ready to own my natural hair colour on the cusp of turning 49!

I am fed up of sh*t hair that I pay a fortune to try and rescue or try and recover from the years and years of colouring it - and quite frankly I don’t want to spend hours and hours getting it coloured all the time!

Midlife me wants healthy hair, and after years of being curious as to what my natural hair will look like I think I’m finally ready to embrace it.

As I get older it’s even more important to me to show the younger generation that we midlife ladies are just as fabulous as ever and to not fear getting older and the changes that come along with that. Every year, every wrinkle, every grey hair is a blessing!!

I mean let’s see how it goes, the beauty of trying things out is we can always change our minds later right?

This book took me on a bit of a rollercoaster which went something like this…

Wow this is good, wtf?, what’s going on? Hmm might not finish this, omg this is brilliant, what on earth? What a story, the ending 😮

So yeah I highly recommend it! This is one of those books that I found worth the hype and I’m loving seeing everyone’s reaction to it!
