A client approached to know about the selling opportunity on Amazon. He already has a store in the US. He is selling his good by running a physical store. He wanted to experiment to know if he can sell on amazon or not
He gave us a $4000 budget to play on amazon and prove to him we can get sales on amazon. As we had a budget cap to launch this product so, tried something different in this launch
Rather than spending much on just PPC, we decided to go with Facebook ads just to drive traffic to our Amazon listings.
So, we split the budget we allocate $2500 budget only for PPC for three months. And $1500 for Facebook ads.
These are the method we used to launch his product:
1. PPC Advertisement
For ppc, we followed basic strategies to launch the product.
The created auto campaign, single word targeting, target long-tail keyword, targeted competitorโs ASIN with the high price and low rating.
PPC starts giving us data and we start tweaking the campaign according to the data we received.
2. Facebook Ads:
Facebook ads were the most challenging part of our launch. As we knew we are not using Facebook to do the giveaway. We are working on Facebook to drive traffic on the listing and to sell on a low budget.
So, we created 4 campaigns with different ads set and ads with different target interests.
Campaign 1 Targeting:
In this campaign, we targeted the most relevant audience to our product.
Campaign 2 Targeting:
We targeted an audience that was semi-relevant to the product. Like if someone is looking to eat biryani. He would need a plate and spoon too.
Campaign 3 Targeting:
we target a broad audience in this campaign just to drive traffic on amazon listings.
campaign 4 Targeting:
We worked a lot in our 4th campaign. We started to know the background of our product. we consider various factors, like the price of our product, the taste of people who will be interested to buy our product.
So, in this campaign, we imagined stories, what kind of people will buy the product? why will they buy the product? what kind of lifestyle they are living?

So, here are the results of our first month:
First-month PPC spend was $1,262.45 and got sales of $2,440.5 with 51.73% ACOS total revenue was $3,761.20. Spent $456.25 on FB ads
After the first month. We started getting good results from Facebook ads because we got good chunk of organic orders. So, we decided to increase the budget on Facebook and reduce the budget for PPC.
so, we decided to put a $3 budget for every campaign on amazon. We started only spending on those keywords which gave us a good result.
We created the different campaigns on those keywords for different matches and placements separately with a budget cap of $3 for every campaign.
For Facebook, we were getting good link clicks on campaigns 1, 3, and 4.

Spent on PPC $181.17 got sales of $879.30 Total Revenue generated $6,432.80.
