VAT Services on Amazon is updating its fee structure in 2022.
Starting on 1 January 2022, sellers joining the service will be charged a monthly fee starting at โ‚ฌ33.30/month from the first month of filing (for one country, without fiscal representation) for VAT filings and fiscal representation.
VAT Services on Amazon is a VAT compliance solution that allows you to manage your European VAT registration and filing obligations via a third-party tax service provider in up to seven countries (the United Kingdom, Germany, France, Italy, Spain, Poland and the Czech Republic).

1- First of all when you will deliberately go to sell gated category. Amazon must need a certificate.

When you are in the sourcing stage, create a dummy listing and see what's aspects of documents they want, whatever is demanding, tell the supplier to make those certificates. Submit those documents to Amazon, If Amazon approved, Good and proceeds the further process
2- If you are not selling gated category even then ask for a certificate sometimes. That's why we create a Dummy listing in advance for the safe side, if Amazon asks for the certificate we can easily provide it.

Go to Google and find a distributor related to your product

If you are selling toys and games categories that are gated.
Search Toys and games distributor/wholesalers in the USA or whatever country you can write, contact them, and buy 10 to 20 samples with an approval certificate. Then provide these certificates to Amazon with product pictures. But Amazon doesn't listen at once you have to try again and again with the request. After that, they will live your listing. It all takes a lot of time.
That's why we prepare a dummy listing that's called advance listing. Whatever the problem, let's clear it up in advance.
After getting out of it all, Now make this dummy listing highly optimize listing.

A Dummy listing is a listing that sellers made for their potential product in advance to see if there would be any requirements or restrictions imposed by Amazon before you start to sell it.

Before the Inventory reach to Amazon we create this for checking. Just we add normal(Avian) title, bullets points, description, and 2 or 3 images.
After creating a dummy listing if Amazon wants an approval certificate, or some hygiene/violence-free documents. So we have to provide otherwise our listing will be suppressed. it's better to provide first before the final listing is live and go-ahead from this(mess) process.

After live the listing very first month called "Honeymoon Period". In this period Amazon boosts your sale for rank on 1st to 2nd page. If your listing is perfect, there is no issue so you will act or sell easily otherwise you have to face listing errors. Like may generate approval certificate or many other issues, it's takes a lot of time therefore we don't waste our honeymoon period and we create just dummy listing in sourcing period for clear our path. It's another topic I will make a separate post on it.

A client approached to know about the selling opportunity on Amazon. He already has a store in the US. He is selling his good by running a physical store. He wanted to experiment to know if he can sell on amazon or not
He gave us a $4000 budget to play on amazon and prove to him we can get sales on amazon. As we had a budget cap to launch this product so, tried something different in this launch
Rather than spending much on just PPC, we decided to go with Facebook ads just to drive traffic to our Amazon listings.
So, we split the budget we allocate $2500 budget only for PPC for three months. And $1500 for Facebook ads.
These are the method we used to launch his product:
1. PPC Advertisement
For ppc, we followed basic strategies to launch the product.
The created auto campaign, single word targeting, target long-tail keyword, targeted competitorโ€™s ASIN with the high price and low rating.
PPC starts giving us data and we start tweaking the campaign according to the data we received.
2. Facebook Ads:
Facebook ads were the most challenging part of our launch. As we knew we are not using Facebook to do the giveaway. We are working on Facebook to drive traffic on the listing and to sell on a low budget.
So, we created 4 campaigns with different ads set and ads with different target interests.
Campaign 1 Targeting:
In this campaign, we targeted the most relevant audience to our product.
Campaign 2 Targeting:
We targeted an audience that was semi-relevant to the product. Like if someone is looking to eat biryani. He would need a plate and spoon too.
Campaign 3 Targeting:
we target a broad audience in this campaign just to drive traffic on amazon listings.
campaign 4 Targeting:
We worked a lot in our 4th campaign. We started to know the background of our product. we consider various factors, like the price of our product, the taste of people who will be interested to buy our product.
So, in this campaign, we imagined stories, what kind of people will buy the product? why will they buy the product? what kind of lifestyle they are living?
Please Note: we used many chat and pixelfy .
So, here are the results of our first month:
First-month PPC spend was $1,262.45 and got sales of $2,440.5 with 51.73% ACOS total revenue was $3,761.20. Spent $456.25 on FB ads
After the first month. We started getting good results from Facebook ads because we got good chunk of organic orders. So, we decided to increase the budget on Facebook and reduce the budget for PPC.
so, we decided to put a $3 budget for every campaign on amazon. We started only spending on those keywords which gave us a good result.
We created the different campaigns on those keywords for different matches and placements separately with a budget cap of $3 for every campaign.
For Facebook, we were getting good link clicks on campaigns 1, 3, and 4.
Here is the stat of our November:
Spent on PPC $181.17 got sales of $879.30 Total Revenue generated $6,432.80.
