Missing People is a Brighton-based DJ collective and electronic music 🎶 event series founded by three friends. Since their inception in 2018, they have served as a musical meeting point 📍across the local nightlife 🌒 scene. Their sonic footprint 🐾spans across 4/4, broken beat, house🏠, minimal, dub, electro, disco🪩, and downtempo styles.The collective is known for hosting community-focused 👫events, open decks, and takeover parties at renowned Brighton venues such as The Oculist, Dead Wax Social, WaterBear💦🧸 Venue, and Capsule Records.Core crew members and residents regularly spin at these events to nurture a safe, warm🌤️, and inviting space for diverse sonic 🔊exploration. Their musical selections are broad, often leaning heavily into vinyl-only sets and open-genre mixing.
