First outing of the year for the Spyder, and what a drive it was. Just east of Ffestiniog enroute to Portmerion are some of the best roads in the UK, - decent tarmac, undulating sections and endless twists and turns. Where next shall we head for ?

It’s a sad day when one sells ones Porsche GT3RS. That’s right it’s gone and waiting a new lucky owner at Porsche Centre Chester. Will I be getting another new car, oh yes ! Stay tuned 😊

This week at Oulton Park saw changeable weather conditions with light rain making it a wet track in the morning and then warm weather made it fully dry in the afternoon. How did the GT3RS manage this? Well it was utterly sublime imparting huge confidence in me and my driving, wet grip on the semi slicks was a tad low but very easy to handle, the car displayed some easily controllable under-steer coming out of corners plus a few rear end wiggles under power. And in the dry the grip was limitless. Doesn’t get much better than this

…. Dawn brings quiet deserted Roads to Wales,
a peaceful silence carries the sounds of distant sheep, skylarks on song and err oh yes…
the banshee scream of a Porsche 992GT3RS being properly let loose!
This RS is like a GT3 only more….
quite a bit more, agile, sharp, accessible and sublime. I’m a lucky boy.

A frosty morning here in North Wales calls for the capable Porsche Macan GTS to be deployed.

A car with Secure traction when it’s needed, a luxury conveyance always and a highly capable sports car when blasting across the B roads on a clear morning, doesn’t get a lot better than this.
