Friday night is radio prep time so I've been trawling my archives to find only the best music for you ready for Sunday morning.
Floyd fans, you are in for a treat as the Breakfast Brunch Banger this week is the Great Gig in the Sky.
I saw Floyd at Knebworth in 1990 but the best live version of this has to be this one, filmed live on 20 October 1994 at Earls Court in London.
If you love Pink Floyd, check out Comfortably Floyd who are playing at the Gainsborough Social Club in Ipswich tomorrow evening, accompanied by jazz saxophone legend, Julian Landymore.
You won't regret it. (The beer is cheap too!)

🌺🌺🌺 Remembrance Day 🌺🌺🌺

It's a day we unite across faiths, cultures and backgrounds to remember the service and sacrifice of the Armed Forces community, the special contribution of the emergency services and we acknowledge innocent civilians who have lost their lives in conflict and acts of terrorism.
It's also a day when many of us reflect and remember people or pets who made a difference to our lives.

Who will you be remembering tomorrow and why?

As well as my usual features, I will be playing a recording of the wonderful Ipswich Hospital Community Choir performing 'I Vow To Thee My Country' and another single by local artist, ReTrO SpLiT called 'Cruising'.

The Cambridge Folk Festival at Cherry Hinton Hall is coming back on Saturday 1st & Sunday 2nd August 2026.

We’re bringing you two full days of incredible live music and activities, plus the option to camp under the stars for three nights if you’d like to make a full weekend of it.

We are getting our website, ticketing and that all important line up confirmed and will be ready to launch in November.

What a crazy day!!! 🤯🤯🤯
Up early to cover for Richie Ross from 10-12 from Beach Street, then a lovely catch up with Mark Glenn Murphy Mbe.
Quick drive home to Ipswich and swapped car for bike so I could get to Stevenage on time for a family party. A ten minute change from biker gear to evening wear and I made it on time! 😅
I’ll be back on the bike early tomorrow morning to make it to my studio for 10am. Who’s in?
There’s another topical Who Are You? (Unlike today, not connected to the artist formerly known as….😂), the TV Trio, the Sunday Slow One and a massive banger (as it’s fireworks season).
I’ll also be playing some music by local duoNayland Boyz, aka Stephen Free and Steve Macbeth - their fresh cut, Homeland, about to be released, and, also music by the amazingly talented Andy Kimber.

It's a double dose of me on Suffolk Sound this weekend as I will be joining Lesley Dolphin and Mark Glenn Murphy Mbe tomorrow at 10am when I'll be covering for the fabulous Richie Ross until midday.
My usual features will make an appearance - the TV Trio, Who Are You?, The Brunch Banger and the Slow One as well as a stellar line up of music.
