2. Waterstones Princes Street – A bookshop with castle views! Grab a flat white from the top-floor café and read with Edinburgh Castle right outside the window — it feels like something out of a novel. ☕📖

3. The Writers’ Museum – Tucked away in Lady Stair’s Close, this free museum celebrates literary greats like Robert Burns, Sir Walter Scott, and Robert Louis Stevenson. The cobblestone entrance alone is worth the stop. 🕯️

I came to Portugal for a wedding… but ended up stepping into a storybook. ✨

From palaces painted like novels, to gardens covered in azulejos, to a fairytale wedding where love felt like it belonged in a movie… every moment was magic.
