Boo…..guess who!!!!😬

So, 2 years after having to retire Soul Train Sounds after we moved to France, it’s been a bit of a strange week to say the least.

A very lovely young couple from the UK have asked us to blow the dust off our needles and bring some soulful tunes to their chateau wedding in Northern France, which we definitely couldn’t refuse ❤️

Then we got a message from a pub in Kent who possibly want a couple of proper soul gigs a year….details to follow, watch this space as we really hope we can get something sorted 🤞🏻!!

We are excited at these opportunities as we have missed all our little Soul Train Sounds family and would love to see you all again real soon 🫶🏻✌🏻

It’s with a lot of soul searching we have decided that after almost 7 years, countless gigs and who knows how many hours and hours of spinning records, that due to a change in our personal circumstances we will no longer be continuing with regular monthly gigs.

Instead we will be concentrating on ad-hoc gigs, private parties, house parties, weddings and larger events to lessen our heavy workload, so please get in touch if you have any events we can help you with.

We have played some amazing gigs in amazing places, made incredible memories and met some great people, it’s been an absolute blast. We will miss this side of the business enormously so we thank you for your support over the years but for our monthly gigs it’s a very sad goodbye 🙏🏻xx

A big thank you to everyone who came to our last UK gig for 2022 tonight at it proved to be yet another busy dancefloor ❤️Only a New Year’s Eve gig in France left to do this year at Les Trois Cheminées Normandy 🇫🇷

We are cutting our gigging down to every other month from next year, we aren’t sure where we will be at the moment so keep an eye out on the page for dates and venues as and when we can confirm them

Just remains to say a huge thank you to everyone who has made the effort to come and see us throughout the year, especially our amazing regulars, and we hope you all have a safe and happy Xmas and new year x

No matter how busy all our other gigs are, the hour or so we volunteer to a very special dementia care home is always our most favourite….I never get tired of seeing the lovely residents and amazing hard working staff dancing and singing to the music, it’s an absolute pleasure to be able to spin a few old records and see their enjoyment ❤️ looking forward to the next one xx
