Before we install, we look at your hair density, texture, strand thickness, scalp, lifestyle and desired end result. From there, we determine the most suitable installation method and loc size for that individual head of hair.
Because the size that looks beautiful on someone else may not be the right size for you. The method that works perfectly for one client may not be the best choice for another.

That consultation is what allows us to create a foundation with intention, not guesswork.
Every section, every part and every loc is planned with the future in mind: how the locs will mature, how they will be maintained and how they will carry the weight of their own growth.

For this traditional loc retie, we chose interlocking instead of a gel-based retwist not because one method is universally better, but because the maintenance method should suit the individual locs and their needs.

Interlocking secures the new growth within the loc itself, which can give the roots longer-lasting definition and reduce the need for frequent manipulation. It can be particularly useful for clients who want more secure roots or whose new growth tends to unravel between appointments.
But technique matters. Interlocking that is too tight, too frequent or incorrectly performed can put unnecessary stress on the roots. Likewise, repeated tight retwisting can contribute to root weakness and thinning.

The goal isn't simply a neat retie. It's choosing a method that supports the health, strength and longevity of your locs.
