I have been a bit quiet lately, there is a reason. I let the trolls win.

This digital world can be a cruel and faceless place can't it! Crazy really that we let people we don't know or respect have such an affect on our confidence.

I feel a bit better after writing about it and I have just published my article over on Medium if you fancy taking a read.

Exciting day today!

Earlier this year I decided to move my events online as it does seem to fit better with my overall business plan and what I am working to create, but as with everything, it takes time.

Anyway, today I hosted a webinar on 'Networking' and it was a really proud moment for me as I had attendees join me live from UK, USA, India & France! I was blown away! Such a proud moment!

It definitely made all the hard work worthwhile!

On Monday I hosted a brilliant event with an incredibly inspiring speaker, Ashley John from OYNK Ash talked to us about Digital Sustainability which is a subject that is not talked about. There is a very common misconception that all our data is kept in the ‘cloud’ but the reality is these clouds are huge data centres that are powered by fossil fuels. Our personal digital footprints are enormous, so can you even imagine how much carbon your websites are producing? Ashley John is passionate about reducing this and within his talk he spoke about the enormity of the issue and how simple changes can make such a difference to your carbon footprint, but also how it can actually make your user experience so much better and your websites look amazing!
