In the words of “Solo2Darwin - First politics and now weather!
We have a slight delay in the solo2darwin return as Amanda Harrison has to wait out in Cyprus at the moment. A low pressure system has settled in to the eastern Mediterranean bring very low cloud and poor visibility. It looks like the weather system will move on by the end of the week, so we re-plan!

Weather is never a thing to take a chance on, particularly when you are flying 5+ hours over water in a 1942 Bi-Plane, Amanda has been re-reading the life raft instruction again... just to make sure - It doubles up as her seat.

Solo2Darwin - Beirut2Britain - The return (temporary) starts tomorrow!

On top of already flying solo for 2,167 nautical miles across 12 countries with the worst weather in Europe for almost 50 years, Amanda Harrison will return (again SOLO), to the UK via Lebanon, Cyprus, Greece, Italy and France (another 2,130..ish nautical miles!) for a brief wait until political and weather conditions improve and the Darwin adventure can continue.
