Midweek celebrations at the Clocktower Cafe Bar, Ayr for Lindsay & Jimmy's wedding, congratulations to you both. 7-12 in the wedding marquee, the dancefloor was road-blocked from first dance to last dance - it got lively QUICKLY. Lovely to meet old and new friends and a bit of impromptu singing from Abigail (Tina Turner - The Best) & the young team belting out Amy Winehouse - Valerie. One gentleman danced so hard the sole detached from his brogue! As always, I like to show my appreciation & gratitude to the venue staff who were hustling away to make sure the guests & wedding couple had a splendid evening, and of course L&J for the booking and entrusting AWDJ with their wedding entertainment 😍.

Congratulations to Bora & Jamie who tied the knot at Blackshaw Barns yesterday. A splendid day with AWDJ supplying piper - Brandon Vasse & DJ for a full day of entertainment. The crowd were lively and courteous, reacting well to the Albanian floor fillers. First time performing at this superb rural venue - owners: Carol & Craig nailing it with their first year in business as a wedding venue. Lovely to meet the Click Clop Photo Booth girls - a novel mobile horsebox photobooth.

Double Bubble last night for AWDJ. Dazza was spinning at Crosshouse Bowling Club for a surprise 60th with a guest appearance from Elvis the Pelvis. Kris was on wedding duties for Rebecca & Alisdair's evening wedding ceremony at The Heron Byre near Strathaven. First time performance at The Heron Byre - what a fantastic venue sitting a half mile off the A71 in rolling countryside. Purpose built with top notch facilities and attentive and accommodating staff & owners.

Congratulations to Erin & Dylan who got married at the Lochside Hotel, Lodges and Spa last week. A rawkus event with a premium up-for-it crowd. Thanks to our singer Fiona Young who wooed the crowd with 2 x 25 min performances and the popup Dominos Delivery - he wasn't serving pizza's, he was serving up entertainment and a sprinkling of comedy!

Sorn Castle - Exclusive Use Wedding Venue & Glencairn Suite Kilmarnock events both on Saturday evening past. Darren was on wedding duties at Sorn Castle & Kris was entertaining at a 50th Birthday Celebration in Kilmarnock.

Thanks to our clients for Booking AWDJ entertainment services. Guests at both events were highly appreciative of the music selection and the dancefloors were jamming all night. Darren was spinning some Polka classics for his audience whilst Kris was spinning a wide spectrum of party favourites ranging from Neil Diamond to GBX Bits & Pieces!

As always, thanks to staff and management at both venues, who always go above and beyond to ensure their guests have a great night.

Happy 60th Karen! A sterling evening of birthday celebrations at Ayr Northfield Bowling Club. All guests were partying hard to wide array of music and genres, from 70's through to current and everything in between. Thanks to Karen's friends and family who travelled from all over Scotland to attend. Come 10.30pm they broke out the fancy dress clobber and paraded and partied to YMCA. As always, thanks to the hard working venue staff who were hospitable throughout the evening.

What a party at Enterkine House Hotel last night for Charley & Stephen's evening wedding celebration. The room was Jammin from start to finish with a top performance from Elliot G Sax who ripped through the floor-fillers. Shouts to Memorants for camerawork and videography and The Kilted DJ for photobooth. As always the venue staff were on point - diligent and hardworking throughout the evening.
