Happy one year Anniversary to myself and all my coursemates from the prestigious University of Nigeria, Nsukka. We came, we saw and God willing we conquered. Pharmacy college journey was a success one.

Special appreciation to every human resources that God used to make material resources available for my training in the university ranging from immediate family members to friends, mentors, teachers, friends and well-wishers. I am grateful and pray that God will continue to bless and replenish you all!

Season of fruits is here again in Africa

We are blessed with fruits and vegetables by nature. These varieties of veggies supply our body with minerals and vitamins to boost our immunity and maintain healthy living.

Environmental factors, climate and regional factors have contributed greatly to what kind of fruits and vegetables can be found in a place hence no region or locality can have all the fruits available to them naturally.

In Africa we have them in abundance but a lot of people don't appreciate what nature has bestowed on us. The cultivation, preservation and consumption of these fruits are not adequately managed. We have seasons of abundance and that of scarcity which necessitate that we should take dramatic approaches in making sure that we can develop measures that will enable all-around availability of this integral part of our food chain.

Don't eat decayed/decaying fruit, don't eat fruits already eaten by rodents, insects and birds. Wash well before eating and be careful to watch well before eating because not all fruits are edible especially when it's coming from wild environment.
