I’ve been working very hard on the new website over the last 3/4 weeks.

I’m happy to report that as of tonight, it’s fully launched with no less than 11 new features and tools added in the last 24 hours alone!

It’s absolutely packed with weather forecast information, tools and resources, I’m pretty sure you’ll really enjoy it.

The whole idea was to improve on the vast amount of information and charts I provide for enthusiasts and those of you who are more advanced in meteorology but at the same time creating on all round improved experience for every single user.

I think now it ticks all boxes for what you need from a weather website and whilst some of you may not need the fancy stuff, it is there, however, you can now use simplified forecast features and tools which uses the highest resolution data available.

The UI has been bumped up and upgraded. Creating a free account enables you to manage your locations inside the ‘My weather’ section.

You can change visualisations of data on forecasts and many more, you can even upgrade and get daily emails for your location direct to your inbox every morning at 6am. The list goes on and on.

I would like to thank everyone for sticking with me and being patient whilst I’ve spent a lot of time developing the new website.

I’ve now got a website that even I like! 😂 I can now get back to the forecasting, whilst referencing some amazing charts, data and features from it.

Good morning everyone.

A day of sunshine and showers, April showers, for much of the UK today but not all areas will see a shower.

Today we see the greatest risk of showers across northern, western and southern parts of the United Kingdom.

Whilst eastern areas are not immune today, it should generally be drier and brighter here.

Some of the showers heavy and thundery, particularly in the north and northwest.

Today's temperatures ranging from 11-13c for most of us, down slightly in the extreme north and north-west.

Tomorrows weather: April showers, some of these heavy and thundery, particularly in the north and northwest. Temperatures ranging from 11-14c for many, cooler in the far north and north-west.

Outlook: Further wet weather pushing into the south-west by tomorrow night, associated with an area of low pressure.

The wet weather becoming more extensive and pushing in across many areas by the end of Tuesday.

Shout out to all of my followers involved with farming/agriculture. This one is for you!!

After extensive development work, I’m now proud to announce our new and FREE to access farming forecast on our website.

Developed for all aspects of farming and agriculture, you can search for any location in the UK and if you would like to use lat and lon, you can do just that. The link is at the bottom of this post.

What a difference a day makes!

Today we see conditions becoming cooler and unsettled for all, with just the extreme south-east of England and parts of East Anglia holding onto the higher temperatures.

A weakening front moves eastwards throughout today and in-behind this front will be colder upper air moving in. The front will be rather patchy in nature away from the north-west.

We will see a cooler, showery and generally unsettled theme developing over the next 12-18 hours, in particular across northern and northwestern parts of the United Kingdom.

Even some wintry showers for a small window across the highest ground in Scotland!

We also see a return to an overnight frost risk tonight/tomorrow morning, particularly in sheltered rural northern and western areas but not exclusively.

A temporary ridge of high pressure then builds tomorrow across the southern half of the United Kingdom, this is before we see an area of low pressure out in the Atlantic moves closer to the UK, bringing wet weather, some frontal rainfall and a generally blustery regime across the UK as we head into the weekend period.

It will be the north/north-west and west that sees most in the way of unsettled weather.

A very warm day to come tomorrow with 25, possibly even 26c achievable in the south-east! Fresher in the far north and northwest.

Cooler and unsettled conditions soon returning. I'll go into more detail soon. Just to let you all know, my new website is online!
