Can we all just take a minute to appreciate how incredibly beautiful our bride is? 🤍✨

As a commercial photographer/content creator I don’t really do weddings anymore. I commit to maybe two a year, and they’re usually for close friends — which makes them that little bit more special.

So I wanted to share a little sneak peek of this absolutely beautiful bride, and a very good friend of many years. 🤍

I’ve sat editing these today and honestly… they’ve made me emotional. I’ve found myself welling up while looking through them, just in awe of this beautiful human being and the love surrounding their day.

Because wedding photography is never just taking photographs. It’s never simply turning up with a camera.

It’s feeling the emotions of the day.
It’s fixing the little details.
It’s organising the guests.
It’s fixing hair and dresses.
It’s carrying the veil.
It’s calming nerves.
It’s being there for all the little moments in between.

And ultimately, it’s being trusted to capture one of the biggest, most emotional days of someone’s life. 🥹🤍

🚨 THIS WAS NOT WHAT WE EXPECTED…

When this one landed at The Social Lens Co, we knew we had to get involved.

We travelled down to the incredible Peckforton Castle in Cheshire to take on the Land Rover Experience — getting behind the wheel of a Defender and putting it through some seriously challenging off-road terrain. 😮‍💨

Steep climbs. Rocky tracks. Mud. Drops. And a few moments where I genuinely questioned whether I was brave enough 😂

But honestly… I was absolutely IN MY ELEMENT. 🚙🔥

The scenery, the castle and the whole experience were unreal — and now it’s time to show you what happened.

🤠 YEEHAW, YORK! WE FOUND A LITTLE SLICE OF THE WILD WEST 🤠

We headed over to The Silver Spur Bar and Canteen York in the heart of York… and honestly, we weren’t quite prepared for this one! 👀🐎

From the moment we walked through the doors, the atmosphere was absolutely incredible — think Nashville vibes, country music, cowboy decor, cocktails, good food and a whole lot of personality! 🍸🎸

And what we loved most? It’s not just somewhere to grab a drink… this place feels like an EXPERIENCE. 🤠
