Is there such a thing as too many candles? ✨

Here’s the Engine Works in Glasgow absolutely glowing with literally hundreds of candles, festive magic in the air.

I love when couples really lean into atmosphere. Candlelight like this turns an industrial space into something completely intimate and timeless, especially for a winter wedding in Glasgow.

A little throwback to my first wedding of the year with Suzanne & Calvin’s at Glencorse House - just married and absolutely showered in confetti.
One of those moments that’s over in seconds but feels huge when you watch it back. Still one of my favourites from their highlights film.

A morning with the boys.

A calm start to the day before the celebrations began. Alex and his groomsmen got ready at the beautiful Errol Park Estate. There were plenty of laughs, a few nerves, and a fair bit of last-minute tie-fixing.

Grooms often aren’t sure if they want their prep filmed but Alex himself told me this was one of his favourite parts of their film. It’s also so great to share the fun you had in the morning with your new spouse after the wedding! The quiet moments, the anticipation, and fun with friends that really sets the tone for everything that follows.

I’m usually the one behind the camera but I thought I’d share a wee post about me for a change.

I’ve added a few quotes from couples whose weddings I’ve filmed over the past year. Reading these always means a lot! It is such a privilege to be trusted with something so personal, and knowing the films bring back all those little moments makes it all worthwhile. Couples often describe me as being a calming presence on the day and that’s exactly what I aim for, so you can be you and I can capture your wedding naturally as it happens.
