BRM's first car was revealed on this day in 1949. This wonderful Pathé newsreel footage shows the launch of the V16 BRM P15 at Folkingham airfield in Lincolnshire, just down the road from the workshop in Bourne where it was built, on 15 December 1949. Raymond Mays, the driving force behind BRM, explains the project and the car goes for a spin.
