The Importance of warm up’s
**“In the colder winter months, warming up becomes even more important for Taekwondo training. When the temperature drops, our muscles, joints, and tendons are naturally stiffer, which makes them more prone to injury if we push them too quickly. A proper warm-up helps increase blood flow, raises body temperature, and loosens the muscles so they can move more efficiently.
Think of it like trying to stretch a frozen elastic band—it can snap if you pull it suddenly. But if you warm it up, it becomes flexible and strong again. That’s exactly what happens with our bodies. By taking a few extra minutes for jogging, mobility drills, and dynamic stretching in winter, we protect ourselves from strains, improve our kicking speed, and make sure our techniques are sharp and safe.”**
