It’s been a long and tough slog getting this job designed, made, sprayed and installed but we finally got there! A project designed to make maximum use of the space in the clients beautiful home near Reading. A drop down king size in the centre with lit cabinets either side. Pull out bedside tables, lots of cabinets for general storage and a bi-fold media cabinet allows the space to be used for any purpose.

We’ll be back next week to do any tweaks and adjustments once it’s all settled and will take some styled shots but we couldn’t wait to share it before then!

Got this beauty finished off today, with delivery of the two small cabinets to complete the set to our lovely clients in Bottesford.

These modular walnut cabinets were designed to have complete flexibility in the layout, and with a definite nod to mid-century designs. The simple lines, classic walnut tones, shapely leg, and concave handles all make for a wonderful centre piece for the clients family space.

The two small cabinets have hand-routered fluting down the door fronts. This helps to elevate the design without going board by applying the detail on all the doors, and also helps the interior styling by tying it in to a similar design the kitchen island opposite.

Lovely to be home on this sunny Sunday! This weekend has been all about some good family time and relaxing in between an amazing Wisley and then heading out on the road again for the next show at Hever Castle in Kent next week. Very important to us as a small family business to ensure the family part is not forgotten in between all the business!

So pleased to be able to get this beautiful bar installed today in a stunning home near Reading. Made in glorious golden oak to link in the oak framed building, with fully integrated LED lighting. This bespoke display was made by us in our workshop in rural Nottinghamshire, and forms an amazing a centre piece for the clients entertaining space. Can’t wait to see it all lit up in the evenings with an enviable collection of drinks on display! Make mine an old fashioned please!! 🍸

Had a great time visiting to see the incredible carpentry exhibition. The Japanese skills on show really are impeccable - the precision, technique, and artistry on display is truly stunning. And the video on techniques was mind blowing… well worth a visit if you’re in Kensington!

This one’s been a headache to make… huge bar unit for a client near Reading. This will form the centre piece of their entertaining space. Made in oak veneered board with solid oak edging, it’s been finished in a satin lacquer and is now ready for the LEDs to be fitted into each box to provide the wow factor. Hopefully witting this next week so we’ll share some photos of the final piece very soon…

Delivery part one done of this beautiful modular cabinet design in walnut. Three more cabinets to add now the builders have finished the plastering and decorating. Watch this space!

Well that was a day… we’ve been doing this for a good 12 years now and today was the first time getting a flat tyre whilst out on delivery! Ofsted then turn up at the school where Roz is a governor so she’s called in to help with that, and then our son gets sent home from school with chicken pox! 😱

Fortunately we’re surrounded by amazing family and friends to get us out of a sticky situation, so called on the grandparents for childcare, hitched the trailer up to the trusty old Volvo, collected Nick on route (thanks for picking him up), and off to Derbyshire to finish fitting the rest of the library suite we started last week! But doesn’t it look great now it’s all in place? And fortunately it all went in like a dream…

A vast amount of adjustable shelving, great cupboard space, and some drop-down desk space. All trimmed up with some beautiful handles from for a luxurious finishing touch! If today was sent to test us, I hope we passed and don’t have a day like that again anytime soon 😅
