Join us for December’s Coffee Morning, Sat 6-Dec 10:30-12pm, Holy Trinity Church, Long Sutton.

A Festive Fundraiser for MNDA (Motor Neurone Dusease Association). We will pulling out all the baking & making stops to make a difference.

👋 Everyone welcome!
Why not pop in for a morning tea/coffee and a slice of cake, or buy homemade bakes to take home and enjoy. A chance to meet new & old neighbours, friends and WI members.

HELP!
If you can spare an hour to bake a plate of sweet or savoury treats, or enjoy making festive crafts - we welcome all donations at the church from 9:45am, or get in touch and we will pick up from you.

NB: Its useful for buyers if you label foods for allergens, vegetarian, vegan, gluten or dairy free 🙏

Reminder for Nov WI meeting: A special evening with Exhibition On Screen Art Documentary Director, Ali Ray (Long Sutton raised).

WI members are encouraged to bring a friend. We have also invited Somerton Group of Artists and Somerton U3A Art Groups to join us. A free event for non-members.

Ali Ray will be sharing her life, and work traveling the world . You may have seen Ali’s most recent release -Dawn of Impressionism: Paris 1874 at Strode Theatre earlier this year.

Doors Open: 7:30pm
Hot Drinks: 7:30–7:45pm
Talk: 7:45–9:00pm
WI Members business: 9pm

We welcome a little loose change toward tea/coffee donations 🙏

Ali has generously donated her speaker fee to Cancer Research UK (registered charity number 1089464).

🕊 Remembrance Service this Sunday – 9th November at Holy Trinity Church.

Gather at the War Memorial 10:45am, followed by Church Service at 11am.

The WI poppies were laid last Friday in remembrance of all who served and sacrificed. 🌺
