Today, the Youbee team spent the day with Blossom Training & Development CIC, taking part in their powerful self-defence course as a team of Ambassadors. We joined more than 35 people who showed up on a Sunday for one important reason — to feel safer, stronger and more confident.
For Becky and Olivia, it was a meaningful refresher. For Caera and Jenny, it was their first time experiencing Blossom’s approach — simple to learn, easy to remember, and incredibly effective. The training reinforced exactly why we chose to become Blossom Ambassadors.
For us, the Ambassador Programme isn’t just a title. It’s a commitment to standing alongside a CIC whose mission is to reduce violence against women and girls, build safer communities, and give people practical tools to navigate the world with more confidence.
As a team of women, showing up to support this work felt genuinely significant, and for Becky, who is also a Non-Executive Director of Blossom, it was especially powerful to see the team engage with a mission she’s championed for years.
We’re proud to play a small part in amplifying Blossom’s voice and helping more people access training that makes a real difference.
