First party of the year DONE.

Leeds has no shortage of nights that touch on techno, but a party built entirely around it? That’s been missing for a while. Whilst we have been running Rogue Puppet since 2022, the past six months has seen us rebuild, hungry to create something meaningful for this city, and last night was a glimpse of what’s to come for the foreseeable…

A colourful and expressive crowd arriving with open minds, ready to listen to artists willing to go —> there. A venue that trusts our process and ideas. A community that supports the vision. We couldn’t be happier with what we experienced on Friday!

AYDN is a DJ/Producer from the North West UK, with a versatile sound spanning hypnotic techno, hard groove and raw, driving techno.

His sets are built around momentum and tension, layering rolling grooves, sharp percussion and deep, immersive textures to keep the dancefloor locked in. With a focus on flow and energy control, each set is carefully shaped to evolve over time, delivering consistent pressure and a lasting dancefloor impact.

Presenting… Rogue Puppet Exchange: Our new initiative to support knowledge and skills within Leeds’ music community.

These free sessions will run sporadically throughout the year, focusing on DJing and production, so keep an eye out as spaces are limited.

First up: Love Muscle resident and Rogue Puppet booker Kessie is hosting an entry level DJ workshop at Eiger Studios. As well as learning beat matching skills you will also gain insight into:

- Organising and buying music (iTunes/Rekordbox/Discogs/Bandcamp)
- Approaching your first gig
- How to pitch yourself to promoters/bookers
- DJ etiquette & scene building
- Essential fundamentals for building your craft

Kicking off the year is our resident .ey

Fussey is a Leeds based DJ whose sound traces back to the heavier, harder parties of the UK underground scene. His sets are now rooted mainly in hypnotic techno, while still drawing influence from the powerful kicks and industrial textures that first inspired him.

As 2025 draws to a close, we want to thank everyone who made Rogue Puppet what it is.

To the DJs who brought their vision to our booth and radio show, to every person who showed up and moved with us on the dance floor, and to the venues that created the space for it all to happen - thank you!

2025 taught us a lot. In 2026, we’re taking those lessons forward continuing our commitment to showcasing quality techno in Leeds.
