A trip to the supermarket with my toddler is always an adventure, but this one really took the biscuit. We were nearing the end, navigating the busy checkout aisles, and he was meant to be "helping" by pushing the mini trolley. One minute he was by my side, the next, he'd spotted an opening. He dropped the trolley and just shot off, weaving through queues of unsuspecting shoppers like a tiny, determined ninja on a secret mission. I had to abandon my half-unloaded trolley and sprint after him, just yelling sorry to everyone in his wake. It was pure chaos, a blur of tiny legs and a lot of tutting. I swear he thought he was auditioning for a spy movie, making a dramatic getaway.

Little Wins:

"Another day, another failure," Sarah muttered, staring at her blank canvas.

Her friend, Chloe, perched beside her. "Hey, don't be so hard on yourself. Look at that sky – the colors are amazing."

"But it's not what I envisioned," Sarah protested.

"So what? Art is about experimenting, right? Besides, you've been painting for hours. Maybe take a break, grab some tea?"

Sarah smiled. "Maybe you're right. It's just... frustrating."

"I know," Chloe said, "but you're getting there. Celebrate the little wins." Sarah looked at her painting again, seeing it in a new light.
