The public prosecutor's office is investigating after an Italian hunter accidentally killed his hunting colleague whilst trying to shoot a wild boar.

According to Italian media reports, several people have already died in hunting accidents this year alone.

I had a good race this morning, finishing 4th at the Yorkshire Run for Water Aid 10k at Swinsty Reservoir (out of 92 runners).

Finish time 40:50 on a multi terrain two lap course with a couple of nasty climbs and quite a few puddles.

A Scottish farmer believes that reintroduced sea eagles are flying off with Shetland pony foals who've been disappearing from his farm.

Experts say this is highly unlikely, as the largest sea eagle is about 5kg (the size of a domestic cat) and they're only capable of carrying their own weight 🦅

A farmer on South Uist claimed the birds of prey had snatched his animals after their disappearance over the summer.

Excellent result for the little man this afternoon. He was third boy in the 1.6 mile junior race which took place before the Wetherby 10k, and he was delighted to win a medal and a tenner 😀

I was happy with my race, I ran the 10k in 39:30 (position 26/613) and received a big mug 😀🌱
