Theme Park Insanity was initially founded here on Facebook back in July of 2019 by our founder and CEO Joe. Since then TPI has expanded exponentially to feature on 3 social media platforms (Facebook, Instagram & TikTok) and has it's very own YouTube channel for on-ride POV content and more. At the time of writing Theme Park Insanity currently features a combined following of well over 200K followers across all platforms - a number which increases daily with each and every month that passes.

Today we're staying at Fantasy Island Ingoldmells for a ride on the park's 1995 WGH Transportation powered roller coaster - Rhombus Express (formerly known as Rhombus Rocket up until the end of the park's 2024 season).

This fun family roller coaster features two laps as standard and weaves it's way around above the park's Log Flume ride at the rear of the park.

Thought for the day... 🤔

As a creator I've always been incredibly supportive towards other creators, especially those just starting out or those wanting to do so but not quite having the know how or confidence to do so.

With that being said there's one very obvious thing I have noticed during the past 7 years and it's this - not everybody adopts this exact same mentality.

There seems to be a lot of others doing this with ulterior motives and their mentality seems to be this - "I will only support you if you have a bigger following than me"

This (in my opinion) is wrong. As creators we do this for the love of creation and not as a game, but the above approach smacks of competitiveness and ego.

If I love your content I'll happily support you and if you're thinking of starting out and want either help or advice, I will happily give it, but a lot seem to avoid interacting with anyone who doesn't have a platform at the same level as theirs.

Now, these are just my observations, but they're based on what I've seen for myself over the past 7 years of being a creator.

Creators who used to like and support others no longer do, other creators appear to cling to others with a false hope of 'getting noticed' and in truth, it's become incredibly tiresome to see.

If you truly love what you do & create content for the right reasons you shouldn't see others as 'competition'.

The fact they create content in their own style shouldn't make any difference and if you love doing what you do then seeing other's styles should be refreshing and encouraging, not an obstacle to 'beat'.

The world is already a competitive, fickle place without stressing yourself out over 'beating others', so the next time you find yourself thinking you're 'better than everyone else because you have more followers than them' ask yourself this - am I doing this for the right reasons? 🧐

One thing's for certain, it's far too cold out for a physical soaking right now 🥶, so how about a virtual one instead? 😜

Today's POV of the Day takes us back to Fantasy Island for a ride on the park's 1995 Log Flume attraction!

This fun water ride originally opened with the park and weaves it's way around underneath Rhombus Express.

Log Flume also features a pretty great drop at the end and in all honesty, I genuinely thought you'd get wetter on this than you actually do haha! 😂👍

Take a ride on The Quest - Emerald Park's 2024 Vekoma Rides Manufacturing B.V. family boomerang coaster! 😁🙌

*Fun Fact - this ride is almost an identical copy of Light Explorers at EnergyLandia with the only difference being a slightly steeper spike at the end due to the surrounding terrain.
