🍄We are so super gassed to announce we are releasing D.V.S.M’s debut record…🍄

“The natural antithesis to the ‘Artificial’ X Ray Spex, D.V.S.M. is a riot grrrl band focusing on fungi and foraging. This debut EP was born from Tallulah Howarth Creative trying to articulate how we can take inspiration from fungi networks to inform radical action, realising she did not have the academia to back this up, and settling for the next logical answer: a punk band. Expect messiness, expect rage and bat echolocation recordings. “

We can assure you this is the most unadulterated, truly inspired/ing Punk/Fungk you’ll have the pleasure of listening to and it’s an honour to be involved in the releasing of this music.

It will be released digitally on 04.20.23. Keep ‘em peeled for a live session and listening party… 👀

We're super excited to be pressing Ferg's Imaginary Big Band's DEBUT record to vinyl. It's launching with a show at Brudenell Social Club on 23.02 (NEXT MONTH!).

And eeeexactly 1 year before that, 23 musicians piled in to the The Green Room for 2 days and came out with over 25 recordings, 9 of which you'll hear on the album.

We'll also be having an 0800 Disco Party until 3am! An iconic club night, 0800 has made itself famous in the Leeds party scene, and we can't wait to party with them. Expect their usual brand of eclectic disco! 💃🕺🪩

While we’re here, remember we’ve got Ferg’s Imaginary Big Band’s Christmas Explosion on Monday the 12th at Hyde Park Book Club . It’s gonna’ be an entirely jolly occasion and the band are playing lots of Christmas tunes. Chrimble based support coming from Olivia Cuttill and Nico Widdowson.

And while you’re THERE, we’ll be selling Ferg’s Imaginary Big Band’s LTD EDISH 12” single “On Our Own” at the gig. There’s only 20 so message us to reserve.

They’ll also be a single drop on the 4th or November of “Tune for Ennio”, a nod of the Stetson to the late great film composter, Morricone.

We’re also hosting a launch party at Hyde Park Book Club with our howdiest of partners Lubi Jovanovic on the 10th of November.

AAAAND there’s a couple of session drops coming to get your lassos round…

Tight Lines are looking for volunteers to help with their festival Salémango, on the 10th + 11th of June at Hyde Park Book Club!

A variety of roles need filling including entry door staff, regulatory door staff, merch stand operator, setup and pack down crew and live content creator. In return volunteers will get free entry to the festival, drinks, and a great reference for your CV!

It’s back baby and better than ever…

For the uninitiated is a 2 dayer arts and music festival hosted by us at Leeds’ most exuberant hub for DIY culutrual activity, .

This year it will be held on the 10th and 11th of June and will play host to over 50 of the city’s ripe and fruitiest creatives. Salémango celebrates the weird and wonderful, balances the sweet and sour and looks in the city’s nooks and crannies for the juiciest live performance Leeds has to offer.
