We rarely get it right the first time (as is the way with life) and this video proves it!

I swear at the end there you can hear my internal monologue trying to calculate how shavers and Bic go together 😂

🛼 Retro roller disco! 🛼

One of the most unique networking experiences I've had and I loved it!!
.. to be honest, I'm just can't believe I didn't end up on my arse, I haven't skated since my early teens so I was sure it was going to happen.

This was such a good event and I'm thankful I got to meet so many new faces as well as catch up with the regulars!

Well done to Lichfield & Tamworth Chamber of Commerce for hosting this event and keeping it fresh with your networking ideas, this will certainly be one to remember.

The LG KS360 walked so that Blackberry could run 😅

I had so much fun filming this with Dan! Showing the importance of branding from Tiffany's turquoise to Colgate's classic striped swooshing toothpaste visuals; they each have elements we instantly recognise.

On Monday, I had the privilege of presenting with Caroline Fotheringham to help spread the word about SARAC and increase awareness around the understanding of sexual violence.

On this occasion, we discussed the pyramid of sexual violence which - during my training as an ambassador - really stood out and surprised me.

Why? Well, it was because one of the crimes on there was sexism. An offence that has become so normalised we might not even think to place it on the pyramid.

This opened a discussion around sexism and standing up for both ourselves and others.

Sometimes we'll find ourselves in a situation where we can stand up for ourselves, however there are instances where we can't say or do anything. In this situation it might mean someone else in the conversation calling out that inappropriate behaviour on your behalf.

Crafting a world where we do not accept this discriminatory behaviour and drawing a line when it's safe to do so can reduce these instances, helping to move us to a more positive and inclusive future.

So many interesting and open conversations were sparked off the back of the presentation and that's incredibly positive in of itself. A huge thank you to Lil Bo's Deli for having us!

If somebody asked you to think of a bear in a blue coat and a red hat, who loves marmalade sandwiches, you’d know it was Paddington. This is brand awareness.

It’s something subtle that we don’t think about that has a huge impact.

For example:

🐻 Yellow bear, red t-shirt, loves honey. Who am I?
🐻 Yellow bear, white eye patch with colourful spots. Who am I?
🐻 White bear, yellow & black tartan trousers & scarf, red jumper. Who am I?

We get used to seeing these recognisable features from popular characters and it raises awareness as to who they are. The same goes for branding. People come to recognise your colours, fonts, logos and much more, which creates a power greater than we realise and show’s the true importance of branding.

Deb and I have been working together for just over a year and up until today we had never met in person!

We have spoken on the phone multiple times, had laughs and created so much content together, but we’ve never actually sat down with one another for a cuppa and a catch up. So glad that today was that day, and it was lovely!

Sat in the sun with a drink, and Bobbi 🐶 What an excellent way to lead into the weekend. ☀️🙌🏼
