📍 Easter on the Farm at Windmill Farm Park
We recently visited Windmill Farm Park Easter Event 🐣 and had such a lovely day out as a family.
We all enjoyed the Easter egg hunt in Brian’s Wood which was really well thought out and accessible for both the older children and the little ones. They were also very excited to meet the Easter Bunny, and the iced biscuit prize was a really welcome change from the usual chocolate treats.
Inside the Burrow Barn, the children had a great time planting their own seeds, making a very fancy wooden bunny craft and playing the Easter-themed games. The bubbles were also a big favourite here, especially with the youngest.
The children were able to get up close to lots of baby animals in the animal barn, including chicks, pigs and goats. They also took part in calf feeding which was a really special experience– the calves were ridiculously cute!
There is so much to do outside as well, with lots of Easter games, a tractor ride, bouncy pillows and a great outdoor climbing area. We also enjoyed saying hello to the donkeys, chickens and goats, and feeding the sheep and lambs. And of course, we had to finish the day with a play in the indoor play area, which is always good fun!
I always think springtime on the farm feels full of magic✨ and wonder, and despite the wind (and a bit of rain), we stayed much longer than we expected.
