A huge thank you to Gemma, who’s taking part in the 4k Santa Woddle this November in support of Vista.
She's running for us because their partner and Vista Ambassador, Craig Brown, is registered as blind and has received vital support from Vista... something that’s made a real difference to their lives.
Speaking about why she’s raising money and awareness for Vista, Gemma said:
“Learning to run is difficult, as I’ve never done it before - but dealing with sight loss is life changing.”
We’re so grateful for Gemma's dedication and determination to take on this challenge and raise awareness of the work we do across Leicester, Leicestershire and Rutland.
Vista supports children and adults with sight loss, helping people regain independence and live fulfilling lives through services such as rehabilitation, leisure activities and music therapy.
