Honestly, where did everyone go? 😯

As we know British heart foundation can be hit and miss, but this is most likely similar to many of the others

Who’s been gate keeping this place!

When I visited Bury I headed across to Ramsbottom; unsure whether it was just the beautiful day, or the mood was high, but i thought it was a spot!

Not an awful lot of charity shops, few old school looking pubs but overall very nice peaceful place!

I spotted this books, and I remembered seeing a lot of interesting prices of comps for them; I think they’re sold better as a full collection. New, they can cost £45-60 for 5-6 hardback books by the Dog man brand

Also thought Marcus rashford book would be interesting

Also was tempted to make him an offer on all of them , but didn’t want to take every single one that felt too savage 😭😭

Do you buy trainers at Carboots?

There’s always so many different type of trainer sellers at the Car boots, typically a few few more trader style booters, that’ll charge £10+ per pair on secondhand trainers

Il give it to them though, they do get the brands and in good quality (the ones they charge up 😭)

Do you buy secondhand trainers for you?
Would you look for them at the Carboot?

Spotted this by the Tesco in Loughborough

These are the Salvation Army clothing banks, designed for unwanted clothing and shoes
*to note, the banks are there to hold the clothing, all surplus bags on the floor I can only assume are due to these all being filled up ..

Got chatting to a few of the people in the garage, apparently it’s collected on a Monday,
However people are seen rummaging through bags in the evening times 😅

My point with this post is; what do you think the real issue is here?
Is this a sign of over consumption?
Is this laziness? Is this poor management by the clothing banks to collect?

It seems like it probably all happens post car boots on a Sunday

What do you think the solutions are?

It would become a paperweight in my house but the design caught my attention - had to confirm if it was a snow globe or not

Would you pay £2.50 to go in?

Not coming here to fire shots at the carboots price for entry; I guess there’s many factors to consider, but I hear a lot of car boot locations mention no charges, or they’ve never seen the point to charge buyers? But what do you think?
Are you that bothered, or do you accept it as a payment for an experience?
