Hello 👋 I am still here! But have some news…

After a lot of reflection toward the end of last year about my work, what I was achieving (or not) and what I actually want to do, I realised things as they were weren’t working so decided some changes were needed.

The biggest of which is saying goodbye to Corinne Wallington Social.

I have learnt SO much from this business and honestly I’ve been putting off actually walking away from it but it does feel good to let it go.

I may closing but I’m not stopping all the work I did!

I’m moving the best bits (imo) to my other business so consolidating everything I love into one.

The Chiltern Biz Collective is all about small, local, independent business - bringing them together, supporting each other and encouraging everyone to thrive. It’s been my second business for almost 2 years and I love it, so that’s where I need to focus my attention.

So through you will be able to work with me 121 and purchase my online Courses & Downloads.

I’ll still be here as well! I’ll be sharing (likely very sporadically) news & tips about social media, content and general marketing. As well as sharing more general life stuff about running your own business.

Also I’m still open to new ideas & other work. I’ve never liked ‘niching’ as it felt restrictive; I don’t want to put a name or box around what I do / want to do. So if you’ve got an idea, project or some work you think I’d be a good fit for or could help you on then do get in touch!

Thank you for all your support in the development of Corinne Wallington Social. It’s been an absolute blast and although technically I’m closing this business it doesn’t really feel that way - this is just the next turn on this epic rollercoaster and I’m so grateful to have had you with me on the ride so far. I won’t be everyone’s choice, and that’s a good thing.

I’m not here to work with everybody. I’m definitely not right for some people (& they’re not right for me).

I might be right for you though if..

Social media is a busy world and so it’s easy to find it overwhelming, confusing and complicated. That’s where I come in.

I want to simplify things for you.

Get it working for you rather than you working for it!

It’s taken me a while to nail down that this is the mission for my business, but now I have I actually feel a bit lighter. It gives me a guiding light for making decisions on what to do next and what to offer.

I’d love to know though, what do you need simplifying? What’s totally baffling you right now when it comes to your social media?

Where I work…

I work at home and generally switch between the office, the kitchen table and the sofa. When I’m on the sofa I have usually have this one for company too!

I love to get out of the house though! And find it really energising to meet up face to face regularly with others (one of my reasons for taking on was to find my local business community).

My aim this year was to work out and about a bit more - co-working spaces, cafes, etc. I’ve not quite achieved my aim yet but still got time! (Any recommendations gratefully received!)

I also work face to face with local clients, it’s great to meet up in person and get to know you.

You’re not too old.

It’s nothing to do with being ‘down with the kids’.

You’re not past it.

This is something that’s been bugging me for a while. I’ve had many conversations with friends, fellow business owners and clients who tell me they’re ‘no good at social media’ which is usually followed by something along the lines of ‘I’m probably too old’.

The fact is you’re never too old.

We’re all capable of learning new skills at any age. We’re always learning, it’s what makes life interesting!

You don’t need to be a ‘natural’, or need any special equipment or talents when it comes to social media. If you can use your phone, you can use social media.

You maybe just need someone to show you how.

Did you know it’s on Monday?

I don’t feel totally comfortable calling myself an entrepreneur, I mean I’m no Richard Branson 😂 but after looking up the definition I’m thinking I should be more confident calling myself one.
