If you ever need a super easy overnight stay before the LeShuttle, when you’re without your home on wheels the Premier Inn Folkestone is spot on.
We grabbed a family room for £48 (!!) and it’s literally seven minutes from the terminal.
Perfect for our flying Disney weekend and the painfully early start (hello 4am 👋).
If all goes to plan, we’ll be in Disney by 10am tomorrow… fingers crossed!

Toby stole the show as the innkeeper in our last ever Nativity performance tonight! No more for us now 😢
He was amazing and sung his heart out and rocked the dance moves! Proud parent moment!

Beach walk to blow the cobwebs away, boys running wild, waves doing their dramatic winter thing. After a coffee and some cake, back to the caravan for a game night that got way more competitive than it needed to. Caravan weekends will always be my happy place.

AD - Glow Wild at is now more than an outing, it’s our little Christmas tradition. Despite the downpour on Friday evening, Glow Wild still delivered that sparkly little hit of Christmas magic.

We had a fab time walking through the wild garden turned fairy-tale forest, as this year we followed a glowing trail that re-imagined the natural world: under the sea, lit-up trees, woodland creatures, with lanterns dancing between branches.

We finished our soggy stroll by a fire, cups of mulled wine and hot chocolates in hand, listening to a story about seeds and forests.

Sparkles was up to his cheeky tricks this morning, sneaking onto our laptop, checking our emails, and discovering our Disney booking!
😅✨
It’s just a quick trip this time, one night in Folkestone, one night at Disney, but plenty of time for Christmas magic!
Let the countdown begin!

Sparkles the elf’s arrived yesterday morning and is home for the festive season

Here’s to a the month of Christmas magic, making lots of memories and that 10pm realisation you’ve forgotten to set up the Elf (again).

It’s advent calendar time, first Monday in a long time where the tiny one didn’t need nudging out of bed! They were very excited when nanny & grandad turned up with them this weekend!
