Stop praying like a victim.
Start praying like a CHILD OF THE KING.
David wasn't just some shepherd boy who got lucky. He was hunted, betrayed, cursed at, chased through caves and deserts by a man who wanted him dead. But David never once knelt down and begged God to save him like a helpless victim.
He prayed with authority. With audacity. With the confidence of someone who already knew whose child he was.
That's why God loved David so much.
He didn't pray "please God, if it's not too much trouble..."
He prayed "Contend, O LORD, with those who contend with me; fight against those who fight against me!" (Psalm 35:1)
That's not a victim's prayer. That's a King's kid talking to his Father.
So next time life comes for you — try Psalm 35. Pray it out loud. Pray it like you mean it. Pray it like you already know how this ends.
Try it. You will see.
