Look at this superstar leaving the yard like a pro 🤩 just shows what a bit of consistency and confidence can do.
Just last week there would have been no way Jazz would leave the yard without someone in front and now although he’s still taking confidence from me, he is starting to believe in himself that he can do it 😇

This lovely boy is Jazz😍 he is with me to gain some confidence as he is very anxious about leaving the yard alone which then presents as napping. He has been with me nearly two weeks now and I have spent time doing in hand hacks and encouraging him to walk ahead of me past things he finds scary. In the last three days he has progressed to longreining and today he left the yard for the first time without having to have someone walk in front of him 🥰
Here he is showing off in the field and actually starting to enjoy his work and getting out and exploring!

Bella went and did her first Dressage tests this morning coming away with 66% in both tests for 3rd and 4th. Lots to work on but really pleased with her I felt she really tried her best 🥰 she was absolutely not impressed with her rosette though 😂

Bella went out and popped round a couple of courses today 🥰 just went and did the clear round for some more experience for her and she went beautifully, she just got a bit tired halfway round her second round and had a couple of poles but she gave me a lovely feeling up until then, more fitness needed obviously 🏇
But as always she didn’t say no to anything just tried her best 🥹 thank god she’s not a hand higher or she might have to stay🤣

Lovely hack out with my friend and her young connie and Bella today, Bella’s first time on the moors, lots of different things to look at as we have lovely hacking at home but mainly quiet lanes so it was good for her to hack out on some busier roads and through a village too. She was so good, she’s really loving having a bit more variety than just hacking at home 🥰

I had a fantastic time away with Bella (Dallamires Midnight Lute) this week.
She traveled well, and took everything in her stride. Schooling sensibly in open fields with lots of other horses, jumping under saddle for the first time. She always wants to please and I really can’t say how proud I am of her❤️

Dallamires Midnight Lute seeing her first XC fences today!
She needs to work out where her legs are supposed to go but it was such a lovely relaxed first session. She’s has seen coloured poles before but this was her first time actually leaving the floor 🤩 what a superstar! ❤️
