Spotlight loved her first ever hack 🥹
I haven’t even sat on her yet though she has been in her previous home.
Thank you to my sacrifice… sorry sister, Emily, for being her first pilot and Alice for videoing 🥰
She led most of the way and is just so brave and forward!

It’s been such a pleasure having Jazz here for the last 10 weeks and seeing him go from being so worried about being ridden out to hacking alone and in company confidently.
From struggling to get him to leave the yard even in hand to start with to being able to hop on and walk calmly down the drive without him even considering napping and actually enjoying going out has been so rewarding and I’m so grateful to his owners for giving us the time he needed 🤩
So looking forward to seeing his owners out enjoying him ❤️

Spotlight out longreining for the first time from here today 😍
She has mainly been chilling in the field since she arrived, settling in and just coming in for basic handling, a few in hand walks, to have her teeth done and vaccinations but with Jazz going home next week now he’s doing so well I thought it was time to crack on with her and get her going.
She just has the best attitude ever, polite and easy in every way, not worried about leaving her friends and naturally forward and brave, she really reminds me of Dotty when she started her education. Absolutely love her what a star! 🤩

Princess Aurelia really not impressed at the weather conditions 😆 I think I’ve just about regained feeling in my toes after today but all the horses were good as gold despite it being absolutely freezing and windy 😇

Jazz feeling a bit jolly having a canter today 😂 this is only his second canter under saddle! I think he’s starting to realise going forward can be quite fun 😆
He took a step backwards a couple of weeks ago and I had to put him back on the longreins as he started napping out the yard again, in the last few days I have seen a big change in him, when he’s worried he will still nap but instead of panicking and getting worse he is responding to my leg and voice and having a think before going forwards again 🤩
Fingers crossed he keeps improving, he’s such a smart boy and has obviously spent his life thinking he has to make the decisions and is now starting to realise life is a lot less stressful if he can leave it up to me 🏇

Spotlight’s first little walk out from home! Just love how naturally forward and confident she is.

Had such a great lesson with Bella today, I can’t believe how much she has improved in just a few months.
She is absolutely loving her jumping being really brave with fillers popping over everything first time 🥰

I didn’t realise horses came in tortoiseshell 😂
Such an angel for her first ever clip, after looking slightly concerned when I first turned on the clippers she realised she quite enjoyed being pampered and stood like a rock the whole time! ❤️
