Why am I so quiet?

Haha if you’ve met me… you know that’s not the case! But I know I’ve been out of it for a little while. Maybe you’ve not seen me at many events recently, or seen me posting online.

Well… I’m in the middle of moving, and tomorrow is the big day! 🎉

Solicitors have been terrible throughout the whole process… but thankfully we’ve had Kate Bickford helping us every step of the way. 🩵 From beginning to end, Kate has been amazing and I’d highly recommend her to anyone going through this.

Honestly, I still don’t quite believe we’re going to be living in such a beautiful place 😍 A 15 minute walk from Hayle beach isn’t too bad is it? 🤣

If you haven’t already seen it… I’m heading to Iced On The Quay on the 30th July for Eventually Cornwall’s Tasty Travels event! I think a celebratory ice cream will be much needed after all this haha 🍦

And then August will be a quiet month, ready to come back big in September with up to 6 exciting new events 🎉 Keep your eyes peeled throughout August for all the announcements.

I haven't always been an Arsenal fan 🔴

When I started dating my husband 11 years ago, it was the first time I'd really been around football. His family are massive Gooners, which basically meant I became a Gooner too. Fast forward a few years, and something shifted.

I started watching more games. Paying attention. Learning who the players were. Understanding what was actually going on. And now, 11 years later, I've got my own personalised Arsenal shirt (courtesy of the hubby), and I'm sitting watching them win the Premier League and play in the Champions League Final. 🥳

After a sad loss on Saturday, it felt absolutely incredible to watch the whole PL Parade on Sunday and see everyone come together to support the team and celebrate their huge success! They estimated around 1.5 million people attended the parade, and judging by the footage and amazing photos I'm seeing on my Instagram... I'd say they're right! Arsenal fans truly turned London red on Sunday, and it was a sight to behold. 😍

Now... isn't this what community is all about? It's not just being there for the wins, but showing loyalty, trust, transparency, showing up when it's not perfect, and also celebrating every win (big and small). Because success isn't a straight line - it's a whole rollercoaster. And it's a lot easier (and way more fun) when you're not riding it alone. 🎢

That's what I'm building at Eventually Cornwall - a community that supports each other through the highs and lows. A place where you don't just collect connections... You actually get to know people, build friendships, and support others on the same journey as you.

So here's a little question for you:
