A1. .dl98 - ‘Whistla’
Previously releasing on .world our good friend Matt Lidl kicks off CRYPCUT001 with an outrageously squelchy acid-breaks heater, a wicked tune we’ve been itching to release for a minute now.
A2. .wax - ‘Symbolic Logic’
Originally premiered by this minimal electro tune has been doing the rounds under the Guevarism alias for over 5 years, a KIC party classic now exclusively available on Cryptic 12”.
A3. - ‘Konichiwa’
Dropping the newest track of the A-side, sequencer wizard and chief ape Freddie makes his debut with a groovy stab-infused post-electro track.
B1. - ‘The Good With The Rad’
Setting the tone for the B-side, our very own Danny boy delivers a departure from his usual tempo with a dubbed out jungle-rock trip which maintains an ambient laid back feel whilst completely sending you to outer space with its intelligent syncopated rhythms.
B2. .ka.halva - ‘Jiggly Puff’ (Edit)
Ahead of her debut this Saturday, resident Haaj, known for building tearout jungle tracks in her live sets utilising breakbeats and acapellas drawing influence from her South Asian heritage, showcases her unique production style with this euphoric journey.
B3. .warbo - ‘Jungle Safari’
Rounding off the record in style, a tune already picking up plays from and is Warbo’s retouch of a classic by French synth-pop legends Air, injecting Amen-breaks and acid lines into the ‘La Femme D’Argent’ sample and bringing it up to speed with modern dancefloors whilst maintaining its original spacey flavour.
