There must be a reason why I wear my hat on the wrong side of my head when I’m Art the Clown. Is it because I’m just awkward and like to be different, or is it so I can tell myself apart from other Arts during professional photo ops at conventions? OK, so after really enjoying being in character at this year’s Liverpool Comic Con and getting some incredible feedback, I’ve decided to start using my Artful Andy – The Terrifier page to also promote myself for private party appearances. It would mostly involve scaring people and taking photos.

Do you think something like this could take off? So many people said I had the mannerisms and the look down to a T, which has given me a little more confidence with the whole thing.

Here’s a little photo dump from my first ever proper cosplay as Art the Clown at Liverpool Comic Con. What an incredible day it really was! I went with my family, and my daughter came along dressed as Princess Peach. We had loads of photos taken with other amazing cosplayers (I’ll share more of those later), but for now, here are a few of just me and my little one.

There’s nothing I love more than really getting into character when I’m dressed up, and it was such a joy to meet so many lovely people who stopped to take photos. Please feel free to share any photos you may have had with me. You were all so lovely! Also, a big shout out to all the other cosplayers for giving their time to have a picture with my daughter. You all looked out of this world!
