🌶️ Brick Lane Curry Festival this Sunday, 20th September. Don’t miss it!

The is a colourful gathering of flavors, culture, music, and entertainment. The event will feature a grand parade of giant puppets specially crafted for the festival, featuring live music and dance performances by renowned British-Bangladeshi artists Khiyo, Nish, and Mumzy Stranger.

Tower Hamlets Council has launched a free GCSE language course for 11-16yr olds in the borough.

Young people can now study Arabic, Bangla, Mandarin or Somali at one of three Tower Hamlets Idea Stores.

📚 More families can now benefit from the Tower Hamlets School Uniform Grant!

The School Clothing and Uniform grant programme has been expanded this year, meaning more children and families across Tower Hamlets can benefit.

And there’s more good news — the application deadline has now been extended to 31st October!

Tower Hamlets residents with a household income of up to £60,000 who have a child starting Reception, Year 3, Year 7 and/ or Year 10 can apply for a grant towards the cost of school clothing and uniform.
