Exercise is one of the most effective natural ways to support mental health, especially during depression.
When you move your body, even with something as simple as a short walk, it helps:
• Release endorphins (your brain’s “feel-good” chemicals)
• Reduce stress hormones like cortisol
• Improve sleep quality
• Boost self-esteem and energy levels
• Provide structure and a sense of accomplishment
The key is to start small, even 10 minutes a day can make a real difference. Gentle activities like stretching, yoga, dancing to music at home, or a walk in nature can all help lift mood and reduce depressive symptoms over time.

Healing from a mental health illness is a process of learning, unlearning, and growing. There can be setbacks and breakthroughs, quiet days and stronger days. What matters most is consistency, compassion for yourself, and patience with the journey.

Sometimes progress looks like simply getting through the day. Other times it looks like setting boundaries, seeking therapy, taking medication, or rebuilding routines that support your wellbeing.❤️
