Mince Pies at Paul’s

Thank you for inviting Kate and I to the most wonderful Carol Service we have ever been to. ✨🎄

A fabulous way to celebrate the great work you do, remember those we miss and most of all, celebrate what’s so special about Christmas. People coming together to spread positivity, light and joy!

The choir & performers were absolutely incredible! Wow! They sounded like angels… We even got to join in for some of it… Kate was so amazing singing the hymns… I was so NOT 😂 I had to mime most of them because I sounded so bad haha.

I did join in on ‘Come All ye Faithful’ though - what a banger?!… it sounded unreal (even with me singing) in St Paul’s Cathedral - what a stunning building… and the history… Londoners have been worshiping there since 7th Century - we felt so lucky to be there, on such sacred ground… and the acoustics… next level - that dome WORKS 😂🙌🏽 just heavenly ✨

I used to marvel at St Paul’s all the time when I’d run up and down The Thames training for the marathon. I never dreamed I’d actually be able to go inside one day.

And the best bit of the night. A beautiful rendition of ‘Have Yourselves A Merry Little Christmas’… (performed by Willard White) which reminds me of my Mum 🥹 it felt even more special to me & Kate knowing she was with us looking down 🕊️ We miss you everyday Mum… but I know you know that. Thank you for being with us last night.

The best start to Christmas 2025 and my first mince pie of the season (Kate has hers ages ago… she’s in triple figures by now 🤣😋

“You don’t have to see the whole staircase, Just take the first step”

Wow!!! This absolutely blows my mind! The first proper year I’ve been tracking my movement on … I didn’t realise you get an end of year round up. This is so sick!! So good to look back and reflect. I think this also represents the amount of times (I’ve been annoying &) Kate’s put me out the front door and told me to go for a run or a walk hahaha! I’m like the family dog… I need to have a good run around

4 major marathons
(2 major marathons in 1 week 🤯)
Two new Guinness World Records
Thousands of pounds raised for charity

And the best bit… so many new people, experiences and special memories to last me a lifetime 🥰

And it all started with one step… and a promise to myself to get out of my hospital bed as soon as I could… and start living my life again. Making the most of my second chance 🙏🏽

There’s not a day goes by that I’m not grateful. Movement is medicine! So thank you to EVERY SINGLE PERSON who inspires, keeps me going and keeps my head up. You help me more than you could know! You help me keep my body moving and my mind right… ❤️🫶🏽❤️

And to my top training partner ! Ready to do it all again in 2026 my love?🔥 Where will our steps take us this time? Xx

Tree’s up! 🎉🎄

Thank you for a beautiful job as always 🤩😍

and for letting me be the little fairy who gets to put the star on the top 😄🧚🏽🌟

Kate, Audrey and I wishing everyone an amazing Christmas with your family, friends & loved ones ❤️

28/11/2025

Thank you so much to everyone who’s been so kind and supportive 🥹🫶🏽 You have helped me & so much! It’s the best thing about social media to us 🥰 Realising there are so many people going through similar things and we are not alone.

Thankfully I also got a date for my rescheduled colonoscopy / bowel cancer check 🙏🏽 Will be at the end of the year. Due to the complications last time and my stoma… we’ve got improvise with bowel prep and actually insert it into my stoma 😩🫣 AND KATE’S GOT TO DO IT 😂🤣 HAHAHA! Will keep you updated on that 🙃 Then off to the hospital to see if they can get a clear reading this time. Anither camera up my bum 😄 fun way to bring in 2026 - 🎉

All joking aside though, knowing so many people are going through things like this has helped me a lot. THANK YOU SO MUCH! 🥹🫶🏽❤️

Ok, I’m waffling now… Here’s a bit more info on the lump I had removed recently in case it helps xx

THANK YOU NHS 💙

What a week so far - it’s only Wednesday and I’ve already had a camera up my bum, an e***a (that I thought would NEVER END 😩🤣) and some test results that I’ve been worried about since summer.

Thank you to everyone who’s been sending me messages recently (noticing my array of plasters & patches) I didn’t want to say as it’s something I’ve been worrying about… but at the start of summer I got a concerning lump on my neck… which wouldn’t go away and then it grew into a bit of a monster.

Nobody knew what it was and it wasn’t responding to treatment so I had to have it looked at by a specialist and removed. With my recent health troubles and knowing you can never take anything for granted… it has been playing on my mind. Poor Kate too! She’s been so worried… so apologies if we’ve been a bit more weird than usual haha.

I was put on the waiting list for removal just before the Sydney Marathon… so it’s been on our minds for a while… but all that running helped me so much and gave me a way to channel my feelings, stay positive, and think of all the people we were raising money for. It turned a worrying time into a very happy time.

Even though I’ll have a wonky scar on my neck. I’m proud of it… and grateful. It’ll be my newest piece of body art! My newest piece of Kintsugi. ☺️🇯🇵✌🏽 a Japanese term “celebrating and embracing imperfection. Treating healing as an essential part of the human experience”

I finally got my test results back today from the dermatology unit and the lump was benign! 🙏🏽 I’M ABSOLUTELY BUZZNG! THANK YOU UNIVERSE!!!

So back to the other end… 🤣 Unfortunately my endoscopy trip this week wasn’t to be… The hospital were unable to get a clear reading due to the e***a not working well enough. Even though I can’t use my bottom at the moment, food can still make its way into my colon as I have a loop ileostomy.

All good though… I’ll be going back soon for Round 2 🥊 a nice dose of sedation & more bumless paper shorts 😂 Hoping there’s no new growths hiding down there and I can leave the NHS alone for a bit 🤞🏽

If you’re reading this & you’re worried about ANYTHING please speak to someone. Early detection saves lives ❤️

Happy Hermés-ween 🎃

What a way to finish this challenge?! Introducing the limited edition pumpkin-birkin bag in Hermés orange 🤩🧡

(available on 31st October only 🤣)

I think Kate has excelled herself for this one… our final bag of the challenge 😂🙌🏽 WOWWEE!!! It’s so amazing! And heavy… it’s like a couture medicine ball 😄

I just wanted to say the BIGGEST THANK YOU to everyone who has supported this challenge during October. You’ve helped us raise awareness of stomas, life post cancer and hopefully helped to encourage a more welcoming world and change perceptions of diverse bodies in fashion.

Most of all thank you to the genius that is . I don’t know how you e done it?! We didn’t even plan this. We just started on day one and saw where the journey took us. You’ve been incredible! None of these images would have been possible without you. Thank you for making the world a more welcoming, accessible and beautiful place. You are my hero.

You’ve helped me so much in my life. I don’t know how I would have coped with bowel cancer and getting a stoma without you. Thank you for helping me learn to accept myself, keep moving forward & believe in myself more. I promise to keep doing my best to make you proud. You are the kindest most talented and brilliant soul I know - I’m so lucky to have you - you saved me the day you walked into my life. I love you ❤️

Bisous 💋

Some fun facts:
1. ‘stoma’ is Greek for mouth.
2. Bisous is French for kisses
3. Nobody does lips like Lulu Guinness 😘

Audrey and I got to play with these fabulous Lulu bags today. Perfect for our travels and urban rambles 🏃🏽‍♀️🚶🏽‍♀️

We also added Audrey’s special radar key to our crossbody bag in case of emergencies. The radar key scheme is wonderful and has saved me so many times. I always try to have a key and a spare stoma bag on me when I run in case of an accident. I always appreciate it when I can find an accessible toilet that’s working and well lit / attended if I’m on a night run.

My stoma bag has fallen off many times during training and actual marathons. It came off during both the Berlin & Sydney Marathons. Luckily I managed to finish both times…. And thank you to my Kate who was there to help me clean up and get changed. It makes a huge difference having people who understand. So once again - A HUGE thank you to the team at for supporting this challenge. We ❤️ you.

Thank you also to everyone who has been liking, sharing or reading these posts. It means so much 🥹 Awareness is one of the main reasons I’m doing this and I hope it’s helped make stomas more visible and less of a stigma ❤️
