Finally got this Pugilist telepaul together and it turned out better than I hoped it would, it makes my original telepaul redundant and this is more comfortable lighter weight plus more versatile with 2 volumes to blend pickups in the middle, weighs 7lbs
I used a 2 way truss rod and carbon fiber rods which has been a revelation in a maple neck, it's super stable and stays in tune, love the gotoh locking tuners and really nice to use.
I made a custom pickup ring because I don't want fender hardware as I like my stop tail and abr1 bridge.
Mojo Pickups as usual, they always sound fantastic.

2 Gravitas builds getting near the finishing line, they are temporarily strung up while I'm away next week, it'll allow them to settle in before setting the intonation up and fixing the bridge, they sound great already which is a good sign of what's to come, can't wait.

The fretboard is lovely and flat now, we're getting closer to stringing up, I'm making a nylon nut for this one which suit's these Royale models.

I sent my Gravitas to DAVY KNOWLES in Chicago so he can try it out, gig it hopefully and then give me feedback on what it's like, he's a great musician, look him up if you don't know him.
These are the first notes he played on it through a vintage 60s AC30 with treble boost.
