Virtual events create new marketing and employer-branding opportunities for companies. These events should look professional and branded in order to create a positive and appealing impression.

Taboola did it right! It was exciting working with them and directing their live virtual event when they went public on Nasdaq.

We created a tailored on-air graphics package according to Taboola's brand. The event was hosted from the London office by two of Taboola's executives. It also included live speakers and live celebrations from Taboola offices around the globe as well as from Times Square.

The climax of the event was a livestream from the Nasdaq stock exchange in New York, where Taboola's CEO and founder rang the bell.

Movies Everywhere is a one-stop-shop platform for hosting virtual and hybrid cinematic events such as film festivals, screenings, premieres, and more. Their CEO, Yoram Schaffer, shares tips for creating great cinematic events.

One of his tips:
"Another approach is to think television. And again — it does not necessitate the use of very expensive gear, but first of all, a professional person in directing such events. Take for example Video Captain, an initiative operated and managed by Itay Filiba, an experienced TV director. Itay’s main expertise is in making virtual and hybrid events look like real events and bring them to a TV level.

To make things easier for his participants and guests, they can speak on Zoom, but he would “package” the video signal into a predesigned frame, add titles, switch between different sources with wipe effects, split the screen and run video inserts according to the lineup. In addition, as a remote director, he retains an independent communication channel with the guests, so as to be able to guide and instruct them without the audience hearing".

A practical guide
