Soffy’s journey hasn’t been easy — moving to the UK, raising four children alone, and battling social anxiety. But her passion for art helped reignite her spark, and support from the Work and Health Programme North West means she’s taken huge steps forward.

We were proud to host the Pathways to Work event at the Bury Neighbourhub, in partnership with James Frith MP, Bury Council, and Bury Works 🎉 💼

This drop-in session was brought together as a one-stop-shop for local services to support residents — whether they’re staying in work, returning to employment, or exploring their next steps.

The Mental Health UK 2025 Burnout Report found that 34% of adults experience high or extreme levels of pressure or stress 'always' or 'often'. A staggering 91% have experienced high pressure or stress at some point over the last year.

So how can workplaces mitigate and manage the revolving door of work pressures impacting our health and homelife, and the often inevitable weight we carry on our shoulders from home into work?

Our resident expert, Harry Key, Head of Global Specialist Services at CiC Wellbeing was invited to share his thoughts in this month’s HRDIRECTOR magazine.

“A big part of psychological safety is feeling like you have agency, some control or choice,” he writes. “You’re not going to enjoy being told to do something, but a manager guiding you gently, giving you options and not asking you to climb that mountain alone can make all the difference.”

it’s not one to miss as Harry outlines often simple and easy to manage strategies for employers to create a culture of strong mental health and psychological safety.

🎉 A Day of fun, friendship, and giving back! 🏏

Our amazing Performance Support team had the pleasure of volunteering at Disability Day 2025 at the iconic Kia Oval in London — and what a day it was! 💙

This brilliant event celebrates inclusion and the power of sport to bring people together, welcoming young people with special educational needs and disabilities (SEND) to enjoy a day packed with accessible, inclusive activities — from wheelchair cricket and boccia to yoga, dance, archery, and more! 🏏🎯🧘‍♀️

Our team threw themselves into the fun — guiding children through activities, making new friends, and even getting their faces painted (with pride!). The laughter, joy, and unforgettable memories made it all worth it.

We’re so proud of our team for their energy, kindness, and commitment to making the day special for every young person💫
