Today on Ameen Sayani’s Birth anniversary, I fondly remember interviewing him on TV Asia in 1993 an absolute legend, yet so humble, gracious, and encouraging. His timeless voice and presentation on radio Ceylon “Binca Geet mala” inspired generations of broadcasters, many of whom went on to emulate his unique style.
