New sauna and ice bath experience, .sauna, is popping up at Battersea Power Station from 11 October.

ENGLAND WINS THE RUGBY WORLD CUP! 🏉 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁥󠁮󠁧󠁿 🌹 England Rugby’s Red Roses will celebrate their historic home Women’s Rugby World Cup win with fans at the Champions Party at Battersea Power Station tomorrow (Sunday 28 September) from 2pm.

The free-to-attend event will take place in Power Station Park at London’s Official Fan Zone for the Women’s Rugby World Cup 2025. Fans will be able to enjoy live music and a DJ before welcoming the Red Roses for the trophy lift. 🏆

Plus, Battersea Power Station’s chimneys will be lit in red tonight in celebration of the team’s big win. Go on girls!

NEW TO NINE ELMS🌟 , a new all-day café-deli and aperitivo bar from Robin Gill opens today!

Open next door to Gill’s popular restaurant, the new site takes inspiration from the bar culture of San Sebastián and Venice. Here are some snaps from last night’s launch party to give you a feel of the vibe.

By day, expect coffees, house-baked pastries and Italian deli-style lunches. Think comforting plates like beef shin lasagne, rosemary and garlic roast chicken with potato al forno, and ricotta and sage, brown butter gnudi. 🤤

In the evenings, Bar Brasso will transform into an aperotivo bar, featuring seasonal snacks and small plates from the white marble counter, Campari-led cocktails and wines poured from a txakoli tap. And best of all? A £5 Negroni happy hour. And we can confirm, they’re really good.

Congrats .gill.food on the new venture!

Taking over the former store (don’t worry, Iris has only moved next door where they’ve been beautifully refurbished), a touch of Parisian style is coming to Battersea. Expect chic everyday pieces, a bit of French flair, and another reason to wander down Northcote for a browse.

JOB OPPORTUNITY 🏋️‍♂️ Local gym is looking for freelance coaches to join their wonderful team of likeminded people at Guts & Glory Fitness in Battersea and Fulham.

The gyms offer strength and conditioning classes and are officially Hyrox affiliated. They are looking for a new freelance personal trainer to coach classes at both their South West London sites in Battersea and Fulham. This includes the opportunity to personal train clients in the gyms and receive referrals of new clients from both sites.
