Do you know what? It has taken me absolutely ages to write this! After so much work to try and execute our first party; it unfortunately was not the night that I wanted it to be. Ticket sales were super slow and illness, the economy and a multitude of other things were against me. It has been a MASSIVE learning curve and I won’t give up and we WILL be back after some more thought and reassessing the scene atm. It is really hard for new brand and DJ’s to break through; harder than ever really - but this makes me more determined, in some ways, especially when it comes to supporting new talent. So let’s see how the next part of the journey goes. What has screamed out to me though as my main learning point is the importance of having good people around you. All of the DJ’s who were booked to played for Frequency on Friday gave it 100% and I have to thank them all. Special thanks to D-Manic (Dean Nicholson) for everything - you really did step up beyond expectations so thank you 🙏 We were very lucky to have such amazing people on board and I hope after more rest and reflection, we can pull off something special in the future. Lastly, I do have to shout out my amazing boyfriend for his patience, advice and just all round support, always - you are the best ♥️ Big big love and a very happy Sunday 🤩😃♥️😘
