Our Story

OutThere is a leading luxury and experiential travel publication.

Distributed in over 20 countries worldwide, our aim is to celebrate the many fascinating expressions of global travel, from off-the-beaten-track destinations and luxurious resorts to unique, mindful and authentic experiences. Moreover, we look at journeys that extend beyond the act of travelling itself, featuring arts, activism, style and design.

OutThere was launched as a niche LGBT+ publication in 2009, at a time when print magazines were declared over - some called us foolish, others thought we were visionary. Ten years down the line, we beat out several industry powerhouses at the Travel Media Awards, being named ‘Publication of the Year’.
